MATTHIAS BATZ

The founder of TRUFFLE ART ADVISORY lives with art since his early childhood. Directly after graduating in Economics he founded a stock jobbing company in 1998 that deals successfully in proprietary bonds and derivates trade on all important stock exchanges to the present.

While still studying the son of a family of art enthusiasts began building up his own art collection. With an unerring sense for quality, Matthias Batz experiences his pursuit of art as a privilege and enrichment and is a frequent and welcome visitor at all important international auction houses and art exhibitions.

Thanks to his entrepreneurial activity as a stock exchange trader Matthias Batz disposes of a complex knowledge of the financial markets and classical asset classes that benefits his activity as an art advisor.

MANUELA SCHEUBEL

As a private art collector Manuela Scheubel has been pursuing her fascination for art and antiques for many years. With a degree in business administration, she has acquired profound knowledge of the financial markets in more than 20 years of experience in international corporate consultancies and banks. She advised companies in their start-up phase and afterwards worked for a decade in the Private Banking division of a major international bank. Countless discussions with financially powerful investors have substantiated the need for art as a forward-looking investment alternative.

Manuela Scheubel is convinced that the investment in art is a compulsory element of a diversified investment portfolio.
